Privacy Notice
Clarification text under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK, “Aydınlatma Metni”) and information under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Last updated: 1 November 2026.
Who is responsible
The data controller for this website (SEVAREK, an Iveda Studios production) is Iveda Studios, Istanbul, Türkiye. For privacy requests, use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails or the contact options at ivedastudios.com.
What we collect and why
- Mailing list: if you join the list, we store your email address, the date and time you signed up and confirmed, which form you used, the version of the consent you gave, and your approximate country (from Cloudflare, not your IP address). Purpose: sending you SEVAREK news, episodes and early releases.
- Legal basis: your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5(1); GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given by ticking the unticked consent box. We use double opt-in: you are only added once you confirm through the link we email you.
- Abuse protection: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a human submits the form, and we keep a short-lived, hashed counter of attempts per connection (deleted automatically within 10 minutes). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in preventing spam (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
Videos on this site
Videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When you press play, YouTube (Google) processes data under its own privacy policy. “Watch on YouTube” and “Subscribe” open youtube.com directly.
Where the data is kept
Email records are stored with Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers KV), which may process data outside Türkiye and the EEA. Such transfers rely on the safeguards provided by Cloudflare (including standard contractual clauses) and, for KVKK, on your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 9). We do not sell or share your email with anyone else.
How long
Until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days. When you unsubscribe, your record is deleted.
Your rights
Under KVKK Art. 11 and GDPR Arts. 15–22 you may ask whether we process your data, get access to or a copy of it, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing before withdrawal). You can unsubscribe with one click from any email. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu) or to your local EU data protection authority.
Cookies
The public pages set no tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may use strictly necessary technical data to tell humans from bots.
